Andrea Revolti, from the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano, participated as a speaker at the IFAC MIM 2025 Conference. During the event, he presented the paper titled:
“Simulation-Driven Digital Twin Framework for Optimizing Smart Mobile Factory Operations”.

The study focuses on the development of a simulation-based digital twin framework aimed at improving the performance of Smart Mobile Factories (SMFs) used in large-scale linear infrastructure construction. By simulating different configurations—such as drying and curing capacities, assembly line setups, and forklift logistics—the research demonstrates how digital twins can significantly enhance throughput, reduce transport distances, and support sustainable manufacturing strategies.
