On April 15, 2025, Ananya presented her paper, “Digital Twin Driven Quality Control in Smart Mobile Factories: A Framework in Precast Manufacturing,” at the CIRP CMS 2025 Conference held at the University of Twente in the Netherlands.
The paper introduces a structured framework for systematically integrating Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) processes into a Digital Twin system in Smart Mobile Factories (SMFs), with a focus on producing precast concrete tubes for Hyperloop infrastructure. The proposed framework maps out SMF processes at both the system and process levels, helping to connect quality requirements with measurable Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). A case study illustrated the framework’s practical application, demonstrating its use in SMF settings and its potential scalability to other manufacturing environments.
